Editorial policies
The Journal of Environmental Education Research and Sustainable Development (JEERESD) is committed to maintaining high standards of editorial policies to ensure the quality and integrity of the published research.
The following editorial policies are implemented:
Peer Review Policy
All submitted manuscripts are subject to a rigorous double-blind peer-review process. The reviewers are selected based on their expertise and knowledge in the field. The review process typically takes 4-6 weeks. The final decision on acceptance or rejection of a manuscript is made by the Editor-in-Chief based on the reviewers' comments and recommendations.
Publication Ethics
JEERESD follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and adheres to the highest standards of ethical conduct. Any form of misconduct, including plagiarism, fabrication, or falsification of data, will result in rejection of the manuscript and may lead to further action. Authors are expected to disclose any potential conflicts of interest and obtain ethical approval for their research.
Authorship
Authorship should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the reported study. All authors should meet the criteria for authorship as defined by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE). The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all co-authors have seen and approved the final version of the manuscript and have agreed to its submission for publication.
Conflict of Interest
Authors are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the interpretation or presentation of their research. Potential conflicts of interest include financial interests, personal relationships, academic competition, and intellectual property rights.
Open Access Policy
JEERESD is an open-access journal, and all articles are freely available online. Authors are encouraged to share their published articles widely. The journal charges an article processing fee to cover the costs of publication. However, waivers or discounts may be granted to authors who are unable to pay the fee.
Copyright Policy
Upon acceptance of a manuscript for publication, authors will be required to transfer copyright to the journal. The journal allows authors to retain certain rights, such as the right to reuse portions of their work in future publications.
Corrections and Retractions
If errors or inaccuracies are discovered in a published article, the journal will publish a correction or retraction as appropriate. The correction or retraction will be linked to the original article and will be freely available online.
Data Sharing Policy
JEERESD encourages authors to share their research data to promote transparency and reproducibility. Authors are required to provide a data availability statement in their manuscript, indicating whether the data are available and how they can be accessed.
These editorial policies are subject to change without notice. The Editor-in-Chief has the final authority to interpret and implement these policies.
