An ORCID iD is optional when the manuscript is first submitted, so an author who does not yet have one may still participate in the submission and peer-review process. After acceptance, every listed author must create or connect an ORCID account and verify it through the JEERESD author centre. The article cannot proceed to final publication until the ORCID iD of every author has been verified.

Use the structure required for your selected article type. The manuscript should normally contain the following elements in order:
Specific, accurate and understandable without unexplained abbreviations.
A self-contained summary of no more than 300 words reflecting the purpose, approach, principal findings and conclusion.
At least six relevant terms, separated by semicolons, that improve discoverability.
A concise statement explaining the study’s new contribution to knowledge, methods, policy or practice.
Sections required for the selected article type, with clear and logically ordered headings.
Keep every heading, even when it does not apply, and use “Not applicable” or the appropriate standard negative declaration. The required order is: Acknowledgments; Funding; Author Contributions (CRediT); Ethics Approval and Consent to Participate; Consent for Publication; Competing Interests; Data Availability Statement; and Declaration of Generative AI Use.
Only cited sources, presented consistently in APA 7th edition. References must follow all eight declarations.
Numbered in the order first cited in the text.
