Editorial leadership
The leadership team oversees editorial strategy, manuscript decisions, technical quality, publication ethics and the daily coordination of the journal.
Prof. Adebayo is an environmental scientist with extensive research experience in environmental education and sustainable development. His work promotes environmental learning and the translation of research into sustainable action in Nigeria and beyond.
editor-in-chief@jeeresd.onlineDr Ndjib studies plants, ecosystems and human relationships with the natural world. Her work links botany, ethnopharmacology and environmental science and contributes to biodiversity conservation, sustainable practices and the preservation of traditional knowledge.
secretary-editor@jeeresd.onlineDr Embolo Enyegue specialises in toxicology and environmental-impact assessment. His work addresses toxic-risk assessment, waste management, public-health protection, regulatory compliance and the development of safer and more sustainable environmental practices.
deputy-editor@jeeresd.onlineDr Dima specialises in physical oceanography, including ocean currents, waves, tides and seawater properties. He uses numerical modelling and observation to study ocean circulation, climate variability and the influence of physical processes on marine ecosystems.
technical-editor@jeeresd.onlineDr Mvogo Ottou works across botany, ecology, ethnobotany, phytomedicine, bioremediation and water pollution. In his editorial role, he supports ethical oversight, data integrity and responsible approaches to environmental research, conservation and resource management.

Atoba Tonkeu specialises in hydrology and geomatics engineering. Her work examines water resources and hydrological processes and applies geospatial technologies to environmental assessment, water management and engineering challenges.

copy-editors@jeeresd.onlineBelinga Essama studies sedimentary processes, basin evolution and the interaction between geological processes and landforms. His work also examines landslides, erosion and floods and supports strategies for hazard mitigation and risk management.
editorial-assistant@jeeresd.onlineDr Nembot specialises in the application of statistical methods to biological data, the study of plant diseases and the epidemiology of plant pathogens. He supports the methodological and statistical quality of manuscripts considered by the journal.

Board members are expected to uphold confidentiality, disclose competing interests, recuse themselves when impartiality could be questioned and protect the independence of peer review. Membership does not guarantee involvement in every submission.
A manuscript authored by a board member is handled by an independent editor, and that member has no access to reviewer selection or the editorial decision.
